This is a once in a lifetime experience, watching a bird of prey hunting in its most natural state is something to behold.

Seeing the birds and dogs working together as a team is something you will not forget in a hurry, alongside being in some of teesdale's hidden landscapes makes for a truly exciting experience.

We offer hunting days by appointment using our team of Harris Hawks, Ferrets and working dogs from October to February.

This is an excellent way to experience a bird of prey in its most natural state, the day will start with an introduction to the birds followed by a lesson on handling, flying the birds and what to expect whilst out hunting, this is followed by an amazing few hours flying the Hawks after rabbits using the ferrets, then on for a delicious lunch and the afternoon is then spent up in the Dales hunting with rabbits over the dogs.

With access to over 3,000 acres of woodland and moorland to pursue a quarry of rabbit, the hunting days can be tailored to the guest's experience. 

Like all our experiences we dont mix groups on the day so you can get the most out of the experience.

There is a range of accommodation available locally but the best in our minds are the luxury cottages next door at Northside Farm Retreat or the fantastic B&B at Tower House or the amazing cooking, open fires and welcome at the George & Dragon Inn in the neighboring village of Boldron.
